not to sound like a commie or anything but I hate how it costs money to be alive
thank you for still loving me and being patient with me, even when im not at my best
kinda feel like I need to go outside and be absorbed by fog or somethin. become one with the creatures in the mist. become the physical manifestation of the sound the highway makes in the distance. be my own liminal space. self care, yknow
a man: hey
me: that’s enough
BBS’s Dearly Beloved version is still my favorite one. It starts out classy like the original, then it becomes melancholic with a hint of hope weaved into it before it transforms into this great tale about what the entirety of the games are about.
little trivia dump–the BBS Dearly Beloved is really the only one that prominently features the violin, which we later learn is Aqua’s instrument! Of note: often, most significant tracks throughout BBS feature vln: Rage Awakened, Dark Impetus, Aqua; and its focused representation in the BBS DB kind of foreshadows the game
#The prominent instrument in the game’s Dearly Beloved is almost always thematically linked to the game’s protagonist#DDD was cello heavy for Riku#Days was flute heavy for Roxas#Chi is harp for the sleeping keykids (via)

Like, let’s set aside those fake Miyazaki quotes, wasn’t he legitimately upset with the anime industry?
“You see, whether you can draw like this or not, being able to think up this kind of design, it depends on whether or not you can say to yourself, ‘Oh, yeah, girls like this exist in real life. If you don’t spend time watching real people, you can’t do this, because you’ve never seen it. Some people spend their lives interested only in themselves. Almost all Japanese animation is produced with hardly any basis taken from observing real people, you know. It’s produced by humans who can’t stand looking at other humans. And that’s why the industry is full of otaku!”
And that’s that.
- What she says: I'm fine
- What she means: In Legally Blonde, Elle only gets accepted because she's hot and sent a video, but she had a 4.0 and got a 179 (out of 180) on her LSATS. Sure, her major was in Fashion Merchandising but that's a business major, and the fake school she was at was supposed to be UCLA so she had a business degree from a major college, probably went to a great high school, had a 4.0, and a 179 on the LSATS and at that point she would have been automatically accepted so why did they make it sound like she was such a bad risk? She even had leadership experience as president of a major chapter of what is apparently a huge sorority, since Delta Nus are shown as everything from cheerleaders to senators. Harvard should have been desperate to take her. She should have been able to get in if she turned in a cocktail napkin with her name written on it. So why make up the bullshit excuse of "multiculturalism" to justify letting in an extremely qualified and highly driven candidate just for laughs? Elle Woods deserved to go to Harvard and she earned that place with academic excellence and not by being hot.
the weird, bad-vibe feeling when a guy you don’t know calls you “babe” vs. the light, airy, blushy-all-over feeling when a girl you don’t know calls you “babe”
